It will be nice to see his progress during season 37. agreed, I was really really doubting Drew early on, but once he learned all the games & was comfortable with them, he really made the show his own & i think he did a very good job. My opinion on him changed when the prime time specials started airing, he started coming out of his shell in my opinion at that time. I am glad I Stuck it out because I was pleased with his progress. I can deal with the changes I am hearing about (which I will talk about at a later date) but there is still a chance that what we all fear may come true. I personally don't think its going to happen, but this person in charge out there has some lets just say very radical ideas that better not ever see the light of day. Lets keep our fingers crossed that things don't change between now & sunday! Lets keep our fingers crossed that things don't change between now & sunday! Your right about the prime time specials. Drew definitely appears to be coming out of his shell in those episodes. I'm keeping my fingers crossed as well. I hope the set doesn't change too much. JulieSomoski 07-20-2008, 01:30 PM I loved Drew all along - I've been watching him since The Drew Carey Show back in 1995, and I haven't stopped since, so I loved him on TPIR from the start of season 36. I will agree that he seemed to be rather simple, just doing his job in the beginning, but as the months went on, especially around January/February he really made the show his own. He really got comfortable, and you could definitely tell it wasn't just a job for him anymore. I wish they'd do more of those primetime specials. I'm even enjoying watching them in reruns now. |
