What's your least favorite season?

My least-liked season of The Lucy Show is the fourth season. There were only a few classic episodes in the season and during that time the show was still changing into its later format. It just didn't mix well.

I don't have a least-liked season of Here's Lucy.

I don't much care for the California episodes of "The Lucy Show" (seasons 4-6), because the format is so stale (Lucy, Mr. Mooney, and a guest star-of-the-week). The best season of either show is the first "Lucy Show" season (the B&W episodes). Desi was still producing, the "I Love Lucy" writers were still doing the scripts, and Vivian Vance was there. There are some real classics during this year (the girls install a shower; Lucy tries to fix the TV antenna; Lucy gets a part-time job as a secretary; etc.) Desi left halfway through the first season when he sold his share of Desilu to Lucille, and the show headed downhill. The "I Love Lucy" writers bailed after season 2, and Viv was gone after season 3.

All the seasons of "Here's Lucy" seem pretty much the same, although I suppose the later seasons are a little better, since "I Love Lucy" veterans Bob Carroll and Madelyn Davis began writing scripts again.

4 5 or 6, take your pick, but i didn't mind the move to California, i loved the guest stars!
