Hey, who is it that is coming to DVD? Is it that lady over there? No, I think it’s... That Girl. Season Four of That Girl brings 26 episodes of the 1969-1970 season of the sitcom starring Marlo Thomas to a four disc DVD set. Thomas plays Ann Marie, an aspiring actress trying to make it big in New York... but not quite making it every time. Ted Bessell plays her boyfriend Donald, and Lew Parker and Rosemary DeCamp play her parents. Will Ann Marie make it big this season?

Diamonds daisies fun show THAT GIRL! It's a real joy to see this charming show, with the cute Miss Ann Marie and her sweetie pie guy Donald. They DO make a great couple. And the supporting cast is always a blast.

Thx for the write-up & all the background info. Funny when the show first came out I was 11 and didn't really appreciate it - but I SURE DO now. So nice to see this lighthearted charmer being rolled out even further!

For me, That Girl is one of those in-between shows. I'm mildly interested in it, but not sure if I'm interested enough to want the DVD's. Perhaps I'll think it over if they issue all five seasons.

I really like Marlo Thomas so its nice being able to revisit the series now that I'm MUCH older and have a different perspective. When I was 11 I thought Donald was kind of drippy - feel just the opposite abt him know.

I know what you mean thought abt shows where you're ambivalent. You like them but not enough to go out and get them just yet. When I find these types really marked down someplace then I usually take the plunge.

(Keeping my fingers crossed that Patty Duke will comes out one day)

Shame about there being no specials, but it's the episodes I'm most interested in, of course. For the S5 set, however, whenever that may come out, I hope they include That Girl In Wonderland (animated special)! Maybe put in a good word to Shout! or Marlo (if possible)?

I have the first 3 seasons, which I really enjoy, and I plan on getting the fourth season as soon as I have a little extra cash.

Has anyone else gotten theirs yet? I went to the store the first day it was released and got it, and my mom and I have been LOVING IT!!! We put a restraint on how many we can watch per week though, because we've been watching them so fast!!

Anyone got a copy of "That Book (about 'That Girl')" handy? I do but can't access it now. Maybe that'll have clues about what was originally in "The Night They Raided Daddy's."

Shout! is usually good at keeping stuff in and clearing music and such. I wonder if they could only get an edited version for whatever reason....or if the tape was damaged somehow?
