Does anyone remember a case about 3 or 4 elderly couples who went to eat dinner and came out and they had a flat... and then the men were killed? And what about the girl, I think her name was Melody... she was a young girl, with dark hair, and she helped her boyfriend escape from jail... she sent her mom and dad postcards that said "Im sorry".... Did they ever find her? What happened to her? And the last one... there was a case a couple years after UM started and it was about a husband and wife who went to a party and had a fight.... and then she was found dead in the road, and people thought her husband did it, but he says he was at home.....

I still want to find out who the girl that rode her bike at night to a friends and was abducted was......

Also, I did a search for Nyleen Kay Marshall, and found a link to an article that said her mom was murdered in mexico....

The second case you mentioned was a girl named Melody Woods, and she did help her boyfriend escape from jail(and of course, I don't remember his name at this moment!!) As I recall, they were found and arrested. I am not sure what ever happened to her after that.

I was also sad to hear about Nyleen Kay Marshall's mother. How much did that family have to put up with. I felt so bad for the father..

Incredible. And they say that lightning never strikes twice. I can't imagine being in that family and having to go through a kidnapping and a murder.
Tragic.

Yeah, I live something like 10 miles away from where Nyleen was abducted. I think about it everytime I drive by that area. It's SUCH a sad case.

I sent the Jefferson County Sheriff's office an e-mail something like a year ago trying to verify the death of Nancy Marshall, but I never heard back from them. :(

The first case Eugene Bailey was the target. Its been a while since I've watched this so I don't remember if anyone was murdered but I believe Eugene Bailey did survive the attack. I don't think the person wanted in the crime was ever captured.

The third case is Kay Hall. Her husband was interviewed on UM maintaining his innocence but it seems like he eventually pled to some type of murder or manslaughter charge and got some short jail time and a ridiculous 15 years of probation!!

This case was on Lifetime today. It didn't say what happened to them, relationship-wise, afterwards. But a search produced this: https://www.facebook.com/melody.short so it looks like they got married. (If it's uncool to post FB pages, just delete this.)

Yes, CD is right, Eugene Bailey was the target of the hit. The flat tire was a diversion to get rid of the wives, who went home in the other car. After having the flat fixed, the 4 men were driving home about an hour later, when they were attacked en route. Eugene actually survived the attack, while the driver of the car, Walter Scott was killed. Eugene died of natural causes not too long after the attack however.

Three men were linked to the crime, Paul Allen, Ray Taylor, and Clay Taylor. The motive was Ray Taylor was desperately short of cash and thought Bailey's family would appoint him to oversee Bailey's estate.

Paul Allen testified against the other two, but died shortly after the trial. Ray got life in prison but Clay skipped bail and I believe was never caught.

One of the other interesting nuggets from the episode is that Clay has a degree in advertising and may be working in the radio industry.
