I need help from a bona fide aficionado here - I'm trying to get straight the date this episode aired. The S3 DVD says 1/13/1975 which I know is wrong. Varying online guides list the date as 1/13/1976 or 11/13/1975 (some say 11/20/1975 but I am certain that's wrong).

TV Guide (week of 1/10/1976) has the 2nd anniversary special listed on 1/12 (Monday) and this episode (Fonzie the Salesman) on 1/13/76. My question - did it also air on 11/13/75 and the 1/13 was a repeat?

I don't know why it would air on 11/13 since that was a Thursday, it makes more sense that 1/13/76 was the correct date, but can someone please confirm? I'm not sure why, but I can't give up until I know when it actually aired...

Thanks!

I think it was 1/13/76, but I can't prove it so that doesn't help you.

I'd also have to agree that it's 1/13/76, but, like robyrob, I can't prove it.

I think I can answer my own question. After extensive review and cross referencing, I've determined that ABC ran its normal Thursday night lineup on 11/13/75 (Barney Miller, On the Rocks, Streets of San Francisco, Harry O) as I have found episode guides for those series which list episodes on 11/13/75. Given that, I would have to determine that Happy Days did not air on 11/13, meaning "Fonzie the Salesman" was first run on 1/13/76.

I'm sure we can all sleep better now that has been put to rest.
