Watching this last DVD, it seems like so many of the episodes has something about Ozzie and ice cream. I wonder if he really did like ice cream as much as it's played up in the show? :lol:

I also read that Ozzie was famous for taking ice cream breaks when he was writing and editing the show.

Throughout the whole series Ozzie is constantly talking about or eating ice cream.

In a little interview of Ricks kids in David's tv special for Disney in 1986 or 1987, Rick Nelson : A Brother Remembers; Ricks kids make reference to ice cream being a big favorite of Ricks.
As they say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

I read that in one of the bios about Rick too. Rats, now I'm getting a real craving for ice cream! The real deal too (not a Tasty Delight version) but no - no more for me til I hit 153 (13 lbs from now)
