Miley Cyrus, who currently stars in the squeaky clean Hannah Montana, says she images another kind of television show to add to her growing resume.

"I'd love to do a younger, cleaner version of Sex and the City, the star, 15, tells TV Guide. Adds Cyrus: "I like to think of myself as the girl that no one can get, that no one can keep in their hand."

But don't expect too racy a concept.

Cyrus wears a purity ring like her friends the Jonas Brothers. "Even at my age, a lot of girls are starting to fall," Cyrus says. "And I think if [staying a virgin] is a commitment girls make, that's great."

Besides, Cyrus has seen her share of controversy this year following her much discussed photo spread for Vanity Fair. Still, the singer says she tries to keep a level head about everything.

"I want to be a positive role model, so we just try to keep [that stuff] as much not talked about as possible," she says. "I don't dwell on the negativity."

Up next for the young star: her film Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert airs on the Disney channel on July 26.

I really don't know what to say...I'm glad she's ambitious, but there is such a a thing as too ambitious, don't you think? She's still so young!!!

Yes it is her. My understanding is that someone hacked her former boyfriend's cell phone and retrieved those images. Images that were private between two people. Isn't there a law against that? :confused:

The way the media treats her is they keep waiting for her to fall, to be the next Britney. Every little misstep she makes is on the internet the next day!!! In a way, I feel like the media is getting what they're asking for. They want to prove that Miley's not an innocent little girl, but she's a teenager! What do you expect? I know she's a role model for young girls being the star of Hannah Montana, but she's a person too. Sometimes we forget celebs are people too.

The way the media treats her is they keep waiting for her to fall, to be the next Britney. Every little misstep she makes is on the internet the next day!!! I know it's the price of being a celebrity and all, but the paparazzi needs to back off!!! Especially when it interferes with peoples' health!!

a while ago, i didn't feel sorry for celebs wanting privacy. i thought 'well, thats the price they pay. they want the fame and fortune without the attention?! too bad, so sad.' then with britney, they showed coverage everyday on the news and my heart changed. the poor lady can't go to the bathroom without having all these people with cameras follow her.
one image i'll never forget is one i watched on The View. they were talking about britney and showed footage when she tried to drive away (i think this was after her divorce hearing or custody trial) the poor thing couldn't drive away in her car because the slimerazzi was all round it, cameras in hand

i was like that with the first few pics, but eventually they started getting racier and racier and now its just getting annoying and whoreish. i just dont understand why she continues to take pictures like this after all of the media backlash about them LOL. besides, she is supposed to be a role model and she shouldnt be taking pictures of herself like that. when you choose to be a role model for kids you have to live up to a certain standard. i gave her a slip on the first few but come on...the fact that shes continuing to take them just shows she doesnt really care. hell i wouldnt be surprised if she wants them to leak...maybe shes trying to get away from the Disney image.

yeah i agree. i dont mean to sound hateful, but its getting really annoying. i realize shes just a teenage girl, but that doesnt give her the right to take pictures with her boobs hanging out or showering...especially considering shes supposed to be a role model.

While i applaud Miley for having lots of ambition to be a big time superstar with lots of projects, TV shows, etc, she really has to stop with the smutty cell phone/webcam pornstar pics.

Sadly, lots of girls are doing this.

They think it's harmless, and "only thier boyfriend will see it," but it will come back to bite you in the ass.

I think this girl has a few screw looses up in her head - either that, or multiple personality disorder :D I think at this point, she isn't exactly the great role model for young children like she used to be. The photos, the more photos, the less-clean image she wants to have, it's all the same things that put Lindsey and Britney where they are today.

And, I have to agree with you, EmoJoe, I don't know why she keeps making the same mistakes over and over again and doesn't seem to learn from them. It's either the media fulfilling their prophecy, or her filling the media's prophecy, or her being just plain stupid. Or maybe all three. Who knows. It is getting to be that you can't go a day without hearing a story about her...and I do wonder like you said if she's trying to escape the Disney image on purpose. Either way, like TJL said, things to come back to bite you in the ass, and Miley and several other young girls who post pictures like that of themselves on MySpace or Facebook or whatever are learning that lesson the hard way.

Nowadays potential employers search your facebook or myspace before hiring you.
My friend took a picture with the Hooters girls and posted it up on his facebook, and as a result of that got turned down for a job, and they told him that was why. Happens all the time. You would think people would be smarter about what they put online.

I would NEVER want to be well-known. Almost everything someone does these days ends up getting them celebrity status. Look at the people on American Idol. Even if they lose, they end up garnering a lot of attention, and therefore becoming famous. I've often thought about what my life would be like if I did a guest shot on a show or in a movie and what the consequences of possibly becoming famous would be.

I saw a clip on TMZ.com (I think that's what it's called) with Jerry Seinfeld and his wife. They were all dressed up and clearly they were walking to their car after an evening out (or going out). The camera man was trying to get Jerry to say something, and Jerry was trying to tell the guy that they had to leave. I mean, it was clear that they were going somewhere; not purposely dodging the paparazzi. Then the caption underneath said that he was being an ass by slamming the camera people. Give me a break! I would be afraid to walk out of my house if I suddenly became famous!

^ I've never watched TMZ but I always see the commercials for it during my local news...that show looks even sleazier than ET!!! :eek: I don't blame these people for ducking the press. Everyone is entitled to their privacy.

Being a celebrity, everything you do is under a magifying glass...I mean I know I make thousands of mistakes, hell we all do, but could you imagine if every one of those came out back to bite you in the butt, and at that in front of the whole world too???

I used to think HARD COPY or some of those other shows that have entertainment news were bad, but TMZ is scandalous. It is worthless, it is garbage and it is scum.

TMZ is MUCH sleazier than Hard Copy, Extra, or any of those shows. It really is sick. :mad:
