View Full Version : Hey Brian only 200 people SHOWED UP for the Brett Favre Rally in Green Bay-LOL TVFactFan 07-14-2008, 06:39 PM HOF QB you say??? Not according to a large portion of the Packers fans BarneyFife 07-14-2008, 07:41 PM He's one of the best QB's that ever played the game. Naturally the fans are gonna be PO'd if he plays for another team next year and right now, it looks like he will. I know he's old, but he would probably start over any Quarterback in Philly right now. TVFactFan 07-14-2008, 07:43 PM He's one of the best QB's that ever played the game. If he was signed on for this year with Green Bay, i promise you there would of been alot more people show up for the rally. dlemond 07-14-2008, 08:00 PM If I was a Green Bay fan I would be a little wary of Farve being my QB next year for a couple reasons. 1. Apparently he puts himself above the team. He decides he wants to come back a few weeks before camp after the team shifts directions and gears their entire focus as a team without him. Now he expects them to bend to his will - hey, then let me play wherever I want. What kind of BS is that? 2. If GB takes Favre back as a starter, what kind of tension exists all year and what about the mindframe of Aaron Rodgers? And now the team has wonder when they will have shift gears again whenever Favre decides what he wants to do next year? Again, BS. 3. Isn't it about time for an infamous crappy Favre year that seemed to come so readily as people clammered he was destroying his legacy (2005, 2006)? Crap year looms on the horizon. Rodgers is the real loser in all this because it's bad enough following a legend, but now he's going to have the town and the team split up when he'll need all their support to succeed. And if a team does take a chance on Favre they better make sure how many years he's committed to them for or else they'll be in the same boat as Green Bay. mriggles 07-14-2008, 09:14 PM He's one of the best QB's that ever played the game.
