That's terrible news, Tara, and I'm sorry to hear this. The pain of losing our furbabies is simply heartbreaking. I know this well. I hope Bo's passing is pain free. I'm sure you'll know when it's time to make the dreaded decision. It's one of the hardest decisions I ever made, yet I knew I had to put my feelings aside and do the right thing. Prayers to Bo and his loving family.

She is a cocker spaniel; and she has tumors, one in the mouth, one in the throat and several in her lungs, all cancerous; they were all removed, but, because of her age, there is not much they can do, if the tumors are cancer.

Tara I'm really sorry to hear about Bo. I remember when my cat Satchmo got cancer. He was 13 too when it happened. So I know how difficult this can be. He was a big ol Tom cat with a sweet disposition.

Thanks, Bo has a sweet disposition, too; and does not seem to be in any pain; she is still playful and has a healthy appetite; but the vet gives her about 6 months max.

I want to thank everyone for their kind word and their prayers; really means a lot to me. Bo, is so precious to my family and I; but she lived a charmed life (very spoiled princess, she is) and is very, very much loved:) And, she will always be loved, forever...

I just found out that my dog, Bo, has cancer; she is 13 years old and has been the best pet I ever had the pleasure of owning; in a lot of ways, she is my BABY. Right now, I am heart broken, but also, feel truly blessed to have such a great and loving pet to share my life with for the last 13 years; it is going to be very hard to see her go...

Ha, my dog absolutely loathes the beach; she does not like the water; but, she is going on a little trip (next week); she is going up (with me) to visit my brother in San Jose, California (which is about a 7 hr. car ride) from San Diego.
