Just too much aggravation trying to watch this show on BET, for one the time slot STINKS and it needs to be shown at a better time. I'm sick of programming my DVR to record DS.

Now all of a sudden they are SKIPPING eps which made me lose the motivation to record the eps. Why skip eps all of a sudden?? I bet the eps of Malcom and Eddie are not skipped.


And just too many pre-emptions so unless it's a marathon or something on the weekends, that's the only way I will watch this show other than that I have no more desire to record this show on BET

All of those are season one episodes and going in order (except for the final 2 episodes tonight and the marathon tomorrow).

Ok. I am not a fan of the season one episodes. I know BET must have skipped some of the episodes of the other seasons. For example, they may have aired episodes at 3 a.m. but they didn't air them the following day at midnight. I am sure even two episodes must have been skipped altogether. I can't believe how the show got to the Whitley wedding so quick.

I was in the doctor's office yesterday and was reading an article from EBONY magazine from Oct. 2007. It was a rather lengthy article on the new creative force behind BET, talking abt the new reality shows and other programming it is airing and will be airing. The age demographic that is their target is the age of 18-34. I wanted to take the magazine and post what that article said. Since I didn't take it, I can only remember the article stating basically it is only concerned with getting rid of the old stuff and bringing more "original" programming.

The thing that bugged me was they skipped BOTH the episode they played the wrong (unedited) version of last time around AND the episode which followed it. So now I have missed having a good copy of the one that followed it because it cut off.

So now I will have to beg for that one in trade, along with the Kimberly bulimia episode they skipped.

The only thing I programmed my VCR to record today off BET is new season of HELL DATE at 3pm. The hell with Diffrent strokes

BET really pissed me off when they were airing syndicated episodes of The Steve Harvey Show a few years ago. They ALWAYS used to cut out entire portions of every episode. I hated it since Steve Harvey has always been one of my favorite shows. TBS actually did a better job airing that show than BET did.

I've never seen anything else on BET but am glad they aired Different Strokes, it made me a fan of the show. And until tonight I had never seen it on any other channel.

Before BET it was on TNN in 2001 and before that it was on Nick@Nite in 2000.

SO after 2001 it was off the air for 6 years.
