Logan was the baby who died right after birth then came back alive 35-40 minutes later.

Is there any updates on how this child is doing now 13 years later? Is he healthy and has their been any mental problems?

A very touching story.

You know, I don't know. I was always curious about this segment, too!

For some reason I thought the amount of time was 75 minutes but it could have been 30 or 40. The only similar case I can find Googling is of a little boy in England who was dead for a mere three minutes--a real slacker compared to this kid. Surprised and disappointed at lack of updates.

i googled the kids name, the parents name, and even the sisters name. I came up with nothing. I even googled the town.

It is hard for me to believe that their wasn't a story in some paper, somewhere about this child.

I guess the only hope now is that someone who knows the family comes on here and updates.

I thought the story might have appeared in the Reader's Digest but could be wrong.

They just ran Logan's segment. Usually, they end the segment by showing Logan, at a few months old, with his mom, and his mom says something like, "We'll keep him" with a big smile on her face.

They just ended the show and did not show that part. All they said was that logan spent 5 weeks in the hospital and never lost his vital signs during that time, so he was sent home to the care of his parents.

When they used to show the whole segment, with Logan's mom making her little statement about "We'll keep him", you can tell that Logan has suffered some kind of negative lasting effects from being oxygen deprived at his birth.

Segment made me tear up. My mama lost four babies like this in the 60's and 70's

Logan was born on April 6, 1995. The Unsolved Wiki page for Logan Carroll says, "Logan is now nineteen, and although he suffered from brain damage and is in a wheelchair, he goes to school and is happy and healthy."

Logan's Wiki page was created on August 18, 2011 by Unsolved243. He or she originally entered "Logan is now sixteen, and although he suffered from brain damage and is in a wheelchair, he still goes to school and is happy and healthy."

Not sure how the information was obtained, or if someone actually made contact with the family. Unsolved243 does have 7,476 edits/contributions, so may be somewhat more trustworthy than other Wikis (or just loves to update, who knows).

Unsolved243 also posts here occasionally and IMO is a reliable wiki editor. IIRC, Thor2000 started the UM wiki. He didn't/doesn't have internet at home, so does all his work on a disc or external drive, then goes to the library to go online and update the wiki. He has posted here on occasion too.

I believe Logan's sister has posted on the forum and stated that he was in a wheelchair but very happy and healthy, just as the UM wiki says.
