or is this show awful? its an unnecessary 5 HOURS long. you'd think a show given that much time could cover one story in depth. instead they skim the surface on a 1,000 different subjects but without any substance to them.

and the last hour should be called the amateur hour. there's not one informational/educational news crumb in the whole 60 minutes, just inane conversation. all hoda and kathie lee seem to do is talk over each other constantly. although kathie lee is the worst offender. hoda ends up looking like her lap dog, its pathetic. she can't get a word in edge wise nor can the guests.

whats worse is they never get their stories straight? kathie lee constantly gets the facts wrong and when corrected, smugly says "who cares".

If you watch The Soup on E!, Joel McHale, the host, makes fun of The Today show like almost every episode!!! Sometimes the clips are just painful to watch!!! Especially with Willard Scott!!!

5 hours is WAAAAY too much. A little bit of the Today Show goes a long way with me - it's become nothing more than a 5-hour puff piece.

During commercials for The Price is Right, I always turn to Today to get a good laugh. And I completely agree - who actually would let Kathie Let back on daytime television anyways? I do watch occasionally in the early hours, though, and it's not that bad then. Each hour seems to get worse and worse, though. I don't understand how this could be the highest rated morning talkshow.

the early hours are ok, although not that i liked katie couric but it seemed more professional and serious when she was on as opposed to now. i liken it to when you get a substitute teacher and the class starts acting up.
