which version of this song do you prefer the most? jennifer rush, laura branigan, or celine dion's?

i personally go for jennifer's and then laura's. celine doesn't come close to either of their versions

Of those three, I'm going to go with Laura Branigan's. My REAL favorite version of that song was Air Supply's from 1985.

i was shocked to learn that celine dion's version got higher in the charts, in contrast to jennifer's and laura's, when really it is inferior to either jen's or laura's renditions

yes, even though they have the same title. the huey lewis one was more uptempo, whilst the power of love was more of a ballad type of song
