Many you may remember that Screech often wore red high-top Converse Chuck Taylor All-Stars ("Chucks" for those "in the know" so to speak), along with otherwise usually very strongly mismatched wardrobe. It appeared that there was a clear theme in SBTB that guys who wore Chucks were "losers" because they were always, and I do mean always supposed to be "nerd," "geek," "dork," etc. Oddly this did not occur when girls wore Chucks because Jessie and even "fashion-plate" Lisa wore them, but they were never supposed to be "nerds." What's up with that? :confused: Chucks are cool :cool: , they are common yet classic. James Dean wore them. They are also timeless. Remember those sneakers Zack used to wear? You haven't seen those in stores for over a decade. But those Chucks that Screech wore just keep selling and selling and selling.... Chucks are awesome. I've owned quite a few pairs myself. I remember when I was kid some of the kids used to make fun of me for it, probably because of this show. They were usually idiots. Optical White is my favorite. I also like unbleached white.
