In addition to its regular time slot of 8:00 ET/PT CBS will be airing two extra episodes of The Big Bang Theory at a special time of Monday at 9:30 ET/PT following Two and a Half Men for the next two weeks. Yeah, CBS did the same thing for How I Met Your Mother last year, but it did not hold as much of the Two and a Half Men audience as Rules does. It is only for two weeks, because Old Christine takes over the 9:30 time slot starting on July 21. Any new viewers it can get will help.

The show is doing fine for the 8:00 show. The 8:00 time slot is always the lowest rated time slot on CBS Mondays. There simply is less people watching at that time, especially with better weather. It is getting better ratings this summer than Old Christine got in that time slot last year.
