I don't remember what the episode was called, but I'm pretty sure it was the final episode in the first house. At the end of the show Ward comes into the boys room an announces they sold the house. One of the things Wally says to Beaver after this is "We'll get to have our own rooms."
So what happened? Did the writers forget? Or maybe they decided to keep the brothers in the same room since many scenes take place between them in their room.
Any one know what happened?

Well, it's possible the boys changed their minds even though I doubt it.. I think the writers wanted the boys to share a room so they can have some scenes as to what happens in the show...
I mean you wouldn't get Beaver being talked to by Wally over things or Eddie coersing Beaver to do things...

Yeah it's more believable for the situations to happen having the boys share a room. If they had their own rooms Wally would probably be like the typical older sibling(or at least like mine)and get mad when Beaver wants to come in the room.
You also wouldn't have some of those great moments at the end of some episodes with the boys about to go to bed and throwing pillows at each other.

Good points about the boys sharing a room because I thought that it was silly being that there was a reference that the Cleaver's had 3 bedrooms in both houses. Now it makes sense why the boys shared a room.

I remember one episode where Wally asked if he could move into the guest bedroom(And also asked how much it would cost to build a room over the garage), and the reply he got was something along the lines of 'where would the guest sleep?' I'm thinking how often do they have guests sleep over?(besides Aunt Martha and Uncle Billy), and during those rare times they could have put Wally or the Beaver into their brother's room, or go and sleep on the couch. But I guess that wouldn't be proper June etiquette.
