Scoobiedoo30 07-15-2008, 03:28 PM any Scooby Doo Series DSfan 07-15-2008, 07:59 PM Original one is classic, but Scooby Doo show is good because it is the same idea but they are more rare so I am not as bored of seeing them. Also, I enjoyed A Pup Named Scooby Doo and the 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo. Mikado 07-16-2008, 06:33 AM The first one...I watched it the very first time it ever ran, some 40 years ago! TJL 07-16-2008, 10:06 AM Any Scooby series that does not include SCRAPPY is my favorite. :thanks: Kuroneko-sama 07-29-2008, 12:52 PM The first one...I watched it the very first time it ever ran, some 40 years ago! Likewise. I love the first series, it was great fun... everything after that kind of lost the charm. Scoobiedoo30 07-29-2008, 01:00 PM I have to say I still watch all the Scooby Doo Cartoons tv star collector 07-29-2008, 01:23 PM 1. THE NEW SCOOBY-DOO MOVIES 2. SCOOBY DOO, WHERE ARE YOU? 3. WHAT'S NEW, SCOOBY-DOO? The rest are O.K. ... although Scrappy-Doo is a little too hyper. He needs to chill out! Steve Carras 08-03-2008, 12:29 AM I'm not a fan of any of them, I ahgte What's new for jilying the Capitol Hi-Q/John Seely and Hoyt Curtin music and 1960s Saturday AM Hanna Barbera sound sfX (somnething that's been going since the 1993 "Arabian Knights" special>) GARFIELDKOOL 08-17-2008, 08:43 PM I like the "New Scooby-Doo Movies" the best because I love the guest stars of the day that popped up. I especially liked when Scooby and the gang crossed paths with other Hanna-Barbera stars like "Josie and the Pussycats" "Jeannie and Babu" and "Speed Buggy" Torgo 08-18-2008, 12:30 PM I agree with others- as long as there's not Scrappy. I prefer the original Scooby Doo, Where Are You? and The New Scooby Doo Movies. Schmoopie 08-19-2008, 04:07 AM I think it's the "Where Are You" series. It's the one where Casey Kasem did the voice of Shaggy! I was never really a big fan of these, though because I'm not really into mysteries. Andrea EighteenMinutes 08-21-2008, 09:42 PM Scooby Doo movies....to this day I still like Jerry Reed's Pretty Mary Sunlite.... howierules86 08-23-2008, 02:30 PM My favorite is The 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo (Anybody remember Flim-Flam? I think he's the most underrated character in Scooby-Doo history). AaronHandy3 09-21-2008, 06:40 PM It used to be the original series...until Turner deleted the original Main Title theme in remastering the shows. ohno: But, if I had a choice, I prefer any of the ones which were shown between 1972 and 1978 (The New Scooby-Doo Movies, The Scooby-Doo/Dynomutt Hour, Scooby's All Star Laff-A-Lympics and Scooby's All Stars). :D waichingliu81 09-22-2008, 03:07 PM i'm not a huge follower of the scooby doo shows, but i'd go for 'the 13 ghosts of scooby doo'. that was a good series, which ended too soon. Tubehead 10-03-2008, 01:53 AM I also liked a pup named scooby doo. my favorite scooby doo movie is scooby doo meet the boo brothers. Scoobiedoo30 10-03-2008, 01:00 PM I am a Pup Named Scooby Doo Fan myself. FoxFan1971 12-04-2008, 04:56 PM I like "Scooby Doo Where Are You?" and "The New Scooby Doo Movies" the best. Exactly! Steve Carras 01-19-2009, 01:32 AM Well, to be honest, I never really was a S'Doo fan, and "What's New Scooby-Doo" seems to generate the least popularity even from a diehard fan due to its using Looney Tunes style music and effects [the way other productions in the series did.] Just my opinon. Nighthawk76 05-29-2009, 07:24 PM Scooby Doo is cool no matter what series it is! Retro4Life 05-29-2009, 07:57 PM They all have their individual charms. The first series is the prototype that established the characters and the basic plots, and I also love the period feel of the music and the way they incorporated so many classic movie monster types, which was big in the late 60's. The Scooby Doo Movies were neat because I love team-ups of any sort and it was cool to see the kids interact with the celebrities of the day. I especially liked it when they'd team up with other cartoon characters. The ABC years (1976 and on) were cool too, in that the villains and humor were a little more funky and imaginative. I loved Scooby in the Laff A Lympics too. Then came Scrappy and the main problem I always had with him was that he took all the fun out of the "dog speak" that Scooby practiced. After all these years of barely being able to understand Scooby, here comes a puppy that speak perfect English! Meh. Plus he hogged the limelight too much. I did like "13 Ghosts" because it was something original and the show's first ongoing storyline. And from what I've seen, "What's New?" is neat, too, kind of self referential and enjoyable for both kids and the adults that grew up with Scooby. I've heard there's a new Scooby series coming out this fall called "Mystery, Inc." that is set in a fictional town. Marvo301 05-29-2009, 09:35 PM Scooby Doo Where Are You? The original is always the best! |
