Craig Jackson, host of VH1's upcoming reality competition series "I Love Money," considers himself more of a ringmaster than a leader.

"I'm the brown Jeff Probst," Jackson told the Daily News. "But Jeff Probst, his job is easier than mine. The people on his show are normal, everyday Americans. On this show, we have VH1 reality ‘celebs,' so it was a little more involved, trying to get people to do what you wanted them to do. Like be there on time."

"I Love Money," premiering Sunday at 9 p.m., pits 17 all-star cast members from VH1 shows "Flavor of Love," "Rock of Love" and "I Love New York" in a series of over-the-top challenges for the chance to win $250,000.

The challenges are based on past "Love" moments and include a spitting contest as well as time on the stripper pole.

"Going into the show, I thought that I'm in the best shape, I'm the strongest. These challenges are a piece of cake and I'm going to win every one, but the way they are designed, there's a whole lot of factors that determine who can win it," said contestant David Amerman, better known as 12-Pack from "I Love New York." "It's not just based on physical strength but mental strength, too."

From commercials and preview clips currently airing on VH1, its clear that Amerman finds a friend in "Rock of Love's" Heather Chadwell. But is that something that has lasted beyond filming?

"Maybe we could call it a ‘showmance,'" Amerman said. "But I'm a huge fan of the ‘Rock of Love' chicks. On ‘Flavor of Love,' the chicks just aren't good-looking, it's gross."

On the flip side, Jackson was a huge "Flavor of Love" fan and wasn't really ready for what the "Rock" girls had in store.

"I didn't know Rodeo, so when she started laughing, I looked at her and everyone looked at me like, ‘Yeah, that's real,'" said Jackson. "Heather is sort of combustible. Brandi C. is Brandi C. And Megan is so on point. Megan is a lot smarter than she appears to be. She tries to act like she's not smart, but she's really smarter than a lot of people give her credit for which makes her a very powerful game player."

Jackson described the "I Love Money" action as "American Gladiators" meets celebreality, and promises fans that the show will not just live up to expectations, but far exceed them.

"You put these people on a show with no money and it was crazy, energetic and chaotic," said Jackson. "Now we went ahead and added $250,000. Just watch what happens."

This show is so funny. Is anyone watching? They just kicked Heather off last night. I think the Entertainer is so funny. :)

I am watching. Poor Heather. The wrong people are still in the house. I must admit that the secret alliance is pretty smart. I really thought that Rodeo lost her dignity when she sucked up to Megan to try to stay in the house. She still left. I read her interview on VH1 after her leaving the house. It is good.

Yeah I like Rodeo. Wish she would have made it longer. I can't stand Megan. :schmack:

Megan is playing the game very smart though. I wonder if she really meant what she said about taking her winnings and spreading the word about 'mentally ******** dogs'?
