View Full Version : Season 6 not bad at all
MichaelKeith 06-30-2008, 02:13 PM I debated whether to purchase season 6 but went ahead and did so. It's really not bad at all. Granted DS will never be as good as DY, but he did an alright job. Also, EM is still very pretty in season 6--her hair and clothes are still nice. One of the funniest episodes this season is "Samantha's Lost Weekend". Esmerelda added some funny bits to this season. I know I'm not planning to buy season 8 for three reasons. I don't like the way EM did her hair or the clothes she wore. Plus, her heart really wasn't in doing season 8 and it shows on screen to a large extent. And, many of these last season shows were virtual re-makes of earlier shows, and not done any better.
Haven't decided about season 7 yet. I do like the Salem episodes so may end up buying this one.

Same here...I like season 6 I'm on disc 2 now, I'm going to watch Daddy visits the two parter when he gives Darrin a charm so he can perform witchcraft.
Jude The Obscure 07-01-2008, 03:35 PM I've got one episode to go and then I'm finished!
I'm amazed at the stupidity of both Sam and Darrin of trying pull one over at Endora with that magic amulet!! Endora had every right to be pissed!!
The only series that I love that I won't be buying the complete series is The Doris Day Show--I love the first three seasons, but despise the last two.
At first I wasn't going to buy season 6 either, because Dick York wasn't in it, but then I changed my mind mainly for the Tommy Boyce & Bobby Hart episode, "Serena Stops The Show". Now I realize there are many other good episodes on this dvd and I'm glad I bought it.

That's great to hear Ann, my favorite episodes so far are Sam's Curious Craving, and Samantha's Yoo Hoo Maid. Check out the 1966 promos I've posted when you get the chance.
MickeyMac 07-07-2008, 05:58 PM The Tommy Boyce and Bobby Hart episode is funny. Those guys were awesome musicians. Why arent they in the rock hall of fame???
I havent got to season 6 yet, still working on 4.
comedyfreak 07-08-2008, 08:43 AM I've got one more episode to watch of Season 6 disc 2.
Joeytrom 07-11-2008, 10:42 AM Is the episode when Samantha & Louise switch places in season 7? That is a favorite of mine.

Mine too especially when Sam tells Dr. Bombay she heard Louise over and over and he said, "I see, Every little breeze seems to whisper Louise". LOL.
treky 07-14-2008, 03:48 AM yea, I remember seeing the DS episodes on NICK AT NITE years ago, and liking them. The trip to Europe (esspecially the first one where Sam gets sent back to the court of Henry the 8th, with no memory of who she really is:lol: ),
the Salem episodes, the 2-parter wher Maurice gives Darrin powers, the one where Sam and Louise Tate switch places, the 2-parter with George and Martha Washington-all funny!
