I have another question about that episode. When Rachel rebuilt, why didn't she fire steve? That should have been the first objective ;)

Yeah, and Laura and Steve did cause it (well Steve did, Laura was just in there) But if you watch on youtube you'll see the original airing of the episode with a cut scene that shows Steve asking Rachel to buy the restaurant. It was his idea. Besides it's a completely new restaurant, she wouldn't fire him, she just hired him.
