What does everyone think of David Cook's new single (his winner's song)?

Surprisingly, I LOOOOOOVE it. I am a diehard Archie fan, but I will admit that I think Cook's winning song is incredible. It is kind of uhh corny :lol: typical American Idol winner song lyrics (searching for the magic rainbow? LMAO so un-David Cook-like) but I think this is actually the best coronation song yet. D-Cook sounds reaaaalllly good singing it too.

LOL! Yeah, the song has it's cheesy moments (as you mentioned, the rainbow part), but I still love it, and I love David Cook!! I can't wait to see what he comes out with on his new album!!!
I was also an Archie fan...but moreso a Cookie girl!! LOL!!! this year I think that both of the finalists were incredibly talented, and I love how Cookie seems to be like a big brother to Archie!!! I like how they get along so well.

^lmao, everyone on IDF calls this song "The Magic Rainbow" :lol: even the Cook fans.

Super cheesy, but surprisingly, I can't get enough of it. Anything Cook sings turns into gold.

I love that song too. He truly deserved to win.
