I just watched "The Amateur Hour" again, and I could swear that I heard Vivian singing along with Lucy and the Hudson twins on "Ragtime Cowboy Joe."

Did anyone else hear that or am I just imagining it?

I'm guessing they had her "fill in" because the boys weren't very strong singers. She is using her "everyday voice" to fit in, not her operatic voice.

They could be fraternal twins in the show. I get a Lucy/Desi gift shop booklet from Jamestown where there is celebration is held every year in Jamestown, NY. The booklet shows a photo of the two actors who played the boys. They look total different as as adults.

But my reference is solely based on the fact that Lucy really believed there was ONE child. I could easily tell upon seeing the second child, there was more than one child. Now, had they been identical twins, I would have been fooled.
