With a the news about gas prices going up,grocerys going up and everything else is going down hill, we need to stand up and teach the world peace. I know one person can make a differnce, but one person can, try a little kindness, say thank you or open a door for someone, or just say hi. Even though thw world seems like there's vilonce and wars, and starvation, just one person can make another person make them feel better, just be Kind.

I think we should really be concerned with all the violence going on in this country first.

Maybe just a little bit more drama on your part would work. No ones making trouble. Just asking a question.:happyface

You have to start somewhere.

That's true. We need to worry about what is happening in our country first. Try to fix those problmes before we go over to other countries and try to fix theirs.

You have to start somewhere.

How about actually getting a grip on reality and realizing that saying "have a nice day" isn't doing to do a damn thing for world peace.

i've seen your posts on the politics board and it seems like you're only here to argue with people. the idea of the original post is that kindness can spread. if you don't agree you could have ignored it rather than ****ting on something so harmless.

And if you don't like how I responded you should take some of your own advice.;)

;) You are such a sweetheart.

You are right, it only takes one person to make a difference in many things. I bet we can make a list of the people who have taken that first step to make things better.

How abt the mothers or fathers who had a child murdered and they helped to pass new laws? Those are fabulous people for wanting to make our country a safer place.

Hi there snowceature23. As others have echoed, your original thought is a kind and sincere one. Everything has to start someplace. The fact that you practice what you preach lends more power to your plea. Irene's right you are a sweatheart.

And referring to Irene's post of parents who have made a difference, John Walsh is the first who comes to mind. What a wonderful man he is.

If one person can't make a difference, then what's the point in being an individual?

My greatest desire is to somehow make a difference. Cynics and naysayers can laugh and scoff all they like. But someone has to do it.

A good post snowceature23! I try to do something nice a least once a day. Just something simple like a smile might brighten someone's day.
