Wisteria Lane just got a new local to contend with next season. Traveler and Boomtown alum Neal McDonough has been cast as a Desperate Housewives series regular, Michael Ausiello reports.

The deets on McDonough's character and story arc are tough to come by, but there is one detail that should spark some theorizing: He'll be playing one of the Housewives' new love interests (the Reporter's calling out Nicollette Sheridan's Edie Britt).
