This is a fun one. Anyone else see it? I don't think it's on DVD; I remember watching it back in the 80s when the Disney Channel aired episodes (this is how I became acquainted with O&H) -- and I've got it on VHS, somwhere! I'm not sure of the title, but I think that's it. The whole family is shown flying on an American Airlines plane. With propellers! And I just love seeing how everyone was so dressed up to be on the plane. The other thing that I wish still existed is those little head-rest doily things -- usually emblanzoned with the airline's logo. So proper and sanitary ('course, who knew if they actually changed those things between flights!) Anyway, Dave meets a pretty stewardess and then the plot thickens. He somehow learns of her flight schedule (I forget exactly how this works) and then takes a flight -- just for the heck of it -- to surpise her and get a second chance to ask her out (it doesn't quite work, though, 'cause the girl ends up switching her schedule). I wonder what the fare ran him? Ten bucks? Haha. Wouldn't be doing that now!
OH Nuts!

Sounds like a great ep. Wish I had it.

I have it. Great episode and it's one of a few of just David episodes where everything revolves around him. Back in "the day" people dressed for every outing, going to the doctor, the grocery, shopping, but no more. My daughter's pediatrician used to tell her that she was one of a handful that dressed her children when they came to the doctor. She inherited that from me and my Mama, we were always dressed for everything. I remenber the white doily things being on the bus headrests too. Now I'm really telling my age.

Would love to have that episode too :)
And I'm glad to say--that we don't dress up for everything. I would be so miserable, since I'm so hot natured. I sweat for nothing! :p

I have that episode. She changed her schedule with another stweardess so that she could go out with Dave. And Dave was taking the flight just so he could have a 'date' with her.
Isn't Wally dating another stewardess in this episode?
And I'm thinking Fred was in this too. As a rival of Dave's for the girl.
But I haven't viewed this one in a long long time.
I like the ones that featured Dave. And you're right, there weren't many that revolved solely on Dave.
It always amazed me how many girls Dave and Rick swaped, when they were 4 years apart. You'd have think they'd have different age bracket of girlfriends.
