I competed in the TVLAND Ultimate Fan Search Competition in New York (June 2000). Unfortunately, most of the contestants did not meet.

I've set up an egroup so that those of us who competed in the contest can finally meet at least electronically. I extend a special invitation to all Ultimate Fan Search contestants from this year and last year but all television fans are more than welcome to join us to swap trivia and "Fan Search" stories. (I know I wasn't the only one who had trouble with the "pickle!")

I'm hoping that TVLAND's Ultimate Fan 2001 will come out of our group. The egroup's URL is at the bottom of this message.

I just found this page hoping to find information about the program dates for the 2000 UFS, where I was also a contestant almost 18 years ago now. I may be watching your episode now, Jim, if you were a web developer at the time. Another contestant who played in the same tournament on the same day I did posted his competition here.
