TVFactFan 06-24-2008, 06:09 PM I'm watching SportsCenter and They think the Browns moves in the Offseason will land them in the playoffs-lol
I think it's still TOO EARLY for NFL predictions,
More Suitable at the beginning of August
Not June 24th
bandito 06-25-2008, 06:10 PM Being that the Steelers have the toughest schedule & the $*hitiest offensive line in the NFL.. Yeah, the Browns will probably win the division.

I hope they can beat the BEAGLES
catlover79 06-26-2008, 09:27 AM Well, it looks like the Indians season is a wash. Bring on football season!! The Browns made a good run last year, so anything can happen.

I'm just a littl confused why the game is on MNF, the Eagles and Browns don't have any history with each other-lol
I can see the Pats or Steelers but the BROWNS at Philly on MNF??? Maybe on December 15, 1988
Not December 15, 2008-lol
Mr. Television 06-26-2008, 08:57 PM I hope the Eagles are out of it by then and I can just relax.

I don't get it either - I would've thought it would be the Steelers, too. Oh well.

I can understand Bernie Kosar vs Randall Cunningham in 88
But Donovan Mcnabb vs Derrick Anderson???-lol
The Browns could scare some people this season. They can put up a ton of points, but they need to improve their defense. You can tell the networks think they will be good when they have 5 games in primetime plus 3 late afternoon games. A Browns/Eagles matchup in December sounds like a good game to me if both teams are contending. Who wants to see the same teams all the time? I like the AFC vs. NFC games. They don't need to be rivals for it to be a good game.
catlover79 06-30-2008, 01:48 PM ^ I agree - the defense has been the Browns' weakness all along. Other than that UGLY season opener against the Steelers last year, the Browns really didn't have a bad game in '07. Even the losses were close.

I don't think Non-playoff teams should be on Monday Night Football. I always thought that was something you had to earn
