I'm talking about the hapless but sweet men on TV who never seemed to get the girl, always got the rotten breaks, had to deal with horrible bosses (or all of the above!). Here are some examples:

stan kelley - the commish (he struck out a lot with the girls/his fiancee left him at the altar/he often got the crappy assignments)

He had a girlfriend once in a while, but he worked for the subway selling tokens, his "friends" made fun of him, lived with his mom for a while, even TiVo gave him no respect!!(All you KoQ fans know what I mean!!:D )
