Why isn't family matters out on dvd yet? does any one know if its coming to dvd soon? my granpapa likes this show a lot. i'm suprised its not on dvd. just about everyone knows whos steve urakl is. I plane on tapeing to dvd when it comes on nick it nite.

I have no idea. Seriously, this show should have been out years ago. Hopefully with the show coming out on NAN, Warner Bros. will give it a go on DVD.

Yeah It strange that it's not out on DVD when dumb shows like Full House, and Home Improvement are on DVD. Well maybe the new addition of family matters on N@N next Sunday will lead to future releases on DVD

It's weird, I would say this is among the most popular sitcoms not on DVD yet. It's 13th among TVShowsOnDVD voting of shows not on DVD and the only known sitcom ahead of it is The Wonder Years at #1 (don't know what is 11 or 12 though as they could be sitcoms)

There was plans for a TV Favourites Disk at one time (with this board even involved in some of the voting) but that was canned.

This would be my #1 most wanted TV Series on DVD though and there has been no word on why it has not been released. My assumption would be they don't have faith in people wanting to pick up the set.
