Just like my Navy question about Gilligan and my former question about how famous Ginger really is (which I don't think we ever resolved yet), I have another basic Pre-K question. Is the Professor a high school teacher or a university professor? Forget the pilot--just the actual episodes. They don't say in "Two on a Raft" when they describe the castaways on the radio news.
Forget "Rescue" also--just the actual episodes. Thanks.

I think that he is a high school's teacher. In the movie Rescue From Gilligan's island, the cheerleaders who are looking for a homecoming king, looked pretty young and immatured for university's students.

I always thought he was a university professor, hence his title. Maybe I'm mistaken, but I thought there was some reference to his teaching level somewhere along the line. I think it's the Official GI website that puts him as a professor at the university of Cleaveland. I guess I can just picture him teaching college level kids rather than high school.

^ I can just see you in the Professor's class, front row center, doodling your name and his, hearts and all, in your notebook. I think Russell Johnson is to you what Gregory Sierra is to me. :eyes:

It's terrible because it's so true! Actually, last year, my science teacher was sooooooo terrible and of course, I couldn't help but daydream how much better the class would be had the Professor been my teacher. ;)
