seem to mind.)

i love old tv guides. i used to have a bunch. tv guide in the early 90's was the best! i remeber i bought my first fall preview issue in 1993. i thought the cover was so cool
tv star collector 06-20-2008, 01:24 PM I like the TV Guides from the '50s and '60s best for two reasons: those
two decades had the best shows overall (in my opinion) and the magazine
featured my two favorite cover artists: Al Hirschfeld and Jack Davis.
Scoobiedoo30 06-20-2008, 01:28 PM I also collect Autoraphs
phoebe7165 06-21-2008, 02:53 AM I collect:

Cool!! I have a little collection of dachshund things. I have a bit of a shrine on the hope chest in my living room. I grew up having doxies and I still have them!!
I also collect salt & pepper shakers. I don't even know how many sets I have, but I know it's over 100.
I also collect refrigerators magnets. You should see my fridge!! There's a store at Downtown Disney called Magnetron. They have some of the coolest magnets. I have to make sure not to spend too much!!
I also keep all my concert tickets. I lost count on that, too, but I know it must be over 200.
Chelsea 06-21-2008, 03:29 AM Old TV shows (Particular interest in game shows, but that's me).
Old advertisements - I love older TV ads from the 70s, 80s, and early 90s. For a while I actually had a collection of *print* ads from the 60s-80s, but I ultimately had to get rid of them. Wasn't happy, but it had to be done. This was, unfortunately, before I had a scanner. Oh well.
Honestly, that's really about it.

Ireneparalegal 06-28-2008, 08:57 PM I am a huge I Love Lucy fan so I collect many things related to her/the show. I have a purse, a coin purse, candy, books, the I Love Lucy boxset DVD, so many things and too many to list.
I also buy movies related to John Travolta. I have Grease DVD collection and Saturday Night Fever anniversary collections DVDs.
Here is some more info from another thread, I just copied and pasted it here:
I have saved some newspapers on days where something significant occurred, a president dead, 9/11, etc. Other newspapers I saved merely to show my grandkids someday.
I also have collected MANY magazines that feature Madonna on the cover. From her early days up until she made Evita. Some are in still in their plastic covers still. I won't part with them, I merely want to have them. I love Madonna. I also have a magazine with her posing in different fashions and in one layout she is topless. Something I didn't expect when I bought the fashion mag. Maybe a Playboy mag, but not that mag.
I collect different Stewie (Family Guy) items just because. I love that guy! I also have the entire boxset on DVD.
Autographs. I don't go out searching for celebs, I just happen to run into them and I ask for an autograph. The one I have that I cherish is from Barbra Streisand. I didn't meet her, but my boyfriend did at his place of business. Man, I was floored when he came home and gave it to me. I framed it. ;)

Hey, Irene, I don't really collect Family Guy stuff(at least not yet!!:D ), but one thing I do love are lights that you hang. I found a string of Family Guy lights at Spencer's Gifts. I got them hanging over my front window and they're on right now. I'm sure you already knew this but you can find some cool FG things at Spencer's.
If I were to find FG salt & pepper shakers, I definitely would get them!! I have a couple I Love Lucy S&Ps, though!!

Oh yes, Spencers. My daughter has purchased me some FG items from that store when she was shopping at the mall. I was just cleaning out a drawer of mine and it is filled with several FG small items such as pens, notebooks, etc.

No, sadly. I still can't find a valid address. But from everything I've read, he's great when it comes to signing autographs. If anything changes, I'll let you all know! He was also Paul Benjamin in the "Archie is Branded" episode of All in the Family.

That is one of my favorite All in the Family episodes. Such a shocking ending. You just don't expect something like that to happen on a sitcom.
I've always wanted to get William Shatner's autograph, but he only signs them at conventions...for a price. I would like to get Nancy MeKeon's too but I don't know where to write to.
kingcroesus@aol 06-30-2008, 07:16 AM I would like to start collecting signed photos. Does anyone know how I can send a fan letter to Cloris leachman? She does not have a fan page?
I would love to send a picture for her to sign. Please email me at kingcroesus@aol.com
