this thread is on anything associated with cartoon characters and food. be it in terms of the type of food they enjoy eating, of foods people associate characters with or on restarants, as well as the types of food that they took their name from or were originally based on.

for instance, popeye and spinach. also wimpy isn't just a reoccuring character in the popeye cartoons but there is a british fast food chain named after the namesake character

there was an early 80s/90s japanese based manga cartoon going by the title of samurai pizza cats. they were feline samurai warriors who had a craving for, yep you guessed it pizzas!

Glutton Homer Simpson loves food in general .. but especially donuts and pork

While Popeye is best known for Spinach, there's a chain of Popeye chicken places in the USA...and, during the classic radio days, there was a Popeye show sponsored by "Wheatena" cereal; which meant that Popeye ate that, instead of his spinach! :lol:
