The reason for the limit was to simply give everyone who wanted to participate a chance to do so. Some topics I post about may not have alot of answers and when someone comes in and wipes out the thread with multilple replies then they take the fun out of it for everyone.

I could put the rules in giant bold all caps letters and there would still be someone who wouldn't understand. There are times when I don't bother with this, I started a thread long ago about naming songs with the word love in the title. This topic had a multitude of answers so no limits were set.

It's possible that the ones who posted multiple answers didn't bother reading my initial post so I have to take that into consideration.

I wouldn't consider that narration, either. I think of narration as an announcer announcing the program or a voiceover explaining the program.

In the pilot and a few episdoes after in the first season it has Jane Seymour's voice in character as Dr. Michaela Quinn, talking. She is basically saying about how she moved to Colorado Springs and wasn't accepted as a female doctor but was going to prove everyone wrong and so forth. I wish they would have kept it in. It added something more to the opening credits. At least it did for me. :)

In addition to the theme tune arrangement alterations w/in the 1st 2 seasons, the opening spiel by Max (Lionel Stander) changed somewhat and there were 2 versions of his opening spiel:

S1 - "This is my boss, Jonathan Hart! A self-made millionaire! He's quite a guy! This is Mrs. H.! She's gorgeous! What a terrific lady! By the way, my name is Max! I take care of them, which aint easy! Because their hobby...murder!"

S2-S5, most of the lines of his spiel were the same, excpe that:

The lines about Mrs. H were changed from "What a terrific lady!" to "She's one lady who knows how to take care of herself!" And Max's own description of himself changed from "I take of care of them, because their hobby...murder!" to "I take care of both of them, which aint easy! Because when they met...it was murder!"

With "The Smurfs," I found out there were at least 2 opening credits of this show that used.

The original S1 intro used an even longer spiel that went something like:

Then it went to Gargamel saying: "Ooooh, I hate those Smurfs! I'll catch you, you little Smurf!"
