Me too, I was more addicted to the Jetsons than the flinsones because of how it was ahead of it's time. I would defintely buy the jetsons on DVD before the Flinstones

While I was a Flintstones fan, I thought the Jetsons were a lot of fun to watch!!

A friend told me the Jetsons are featured on a new commercial but she couldn't remember the product -- LOL.

well out of the flintstones and the jetsons, i do prefer the jetsons, but whilst i love watching hanna barbera cartoons, this show is not what i consider to be an absolute favourite of mine.

i like elroy though. cute looking kid :)

Funny you should mention The Jetsons. I just watched again a couple
episodes last night, which I still have on VHS. One was "Little Man" from the
first season (1962-'63) and the other, "Clean as a Hound's Tooth" from the
'80s revival. I actually laughed out loud more at the newer episode. It was
never as popular as The Flintstones (although it did eventually air on
ABC, CBS and NBC on Saturday mornings), but it was a good show (even if it
was derived from Chic Young's classic Blondie comic strip). Hey, if you're gonna swipe, you might as well swipe from the best! And they even got Penny Singleton (the original screen Blondie Bumstead) to do Jane Jetson's voice. Yes, like Gene Roddenberry's Star Trek, some of the
gadgets on the show were indeed ahead of their time.

I have both "The Jetsons Meet the Flintstones" TV-movie and the theatrical
release "Jetsons the Movie" on VHS. The big disappointment about the latter
was the replacement of Janet Waldo with pop singer Tiffany, as the voice of
Judy Jetson.

[blush] Yeah..:) ANyway, the Jetsons parents and Jetson daughter voice [Geo.O'Hanlon, Penny Blondie Singleton--the namesake of my current avatar--and Janet Waldo] were among the greater older "single voice" actors..

I like The Jetsons, too. Astro was also my favorite. He was years ahead of Scooby-Doo with his semi-talking. (rorge).

I remember when I was younger (11 to be exact) when Saturday mornings, I would get up, have breakfast, and watch The Archies and then The Jetsons. Those were the days.
