For families with Miley Cyrus fans, don't plan on seeing the light of day Saturday, July 26. That evening, at 8 pm/ET, Disney Channel plans to broadcast Cyrus' blockbuster, Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert — in 3-D.
It gets better. Disney will amp up audiences with an afternoon Hannah Montana marathon, starting at 2 pm and segueing right into movie. To get the most out of the experience, prospective viewers can find a pair of 3-D glasses in the July 21 issue of TV Guide. Kicking off the extravangza, a new Hannah eppy will air July 20, followed by a week of rock-related evening programming.
Giving Miley's movie to the masses seems like an equitable mode of distribution following the sell-out shows during the its limited run last winter. Will you be donning 3-D glasses and grabbing your air guitar? — Anna Dimond
