Yes it is the episode.

Unless I'm seriously mistaken, it's the only episode.

I wonder if this will be a pattern for WGN...rerun an episode from the week before, followed by a "new episode"? If so it could turn off viewers who see that the first ep is a rerun and don't even bother to watch the second one, not knowing it's NOT a rerun. Gosh, I hope I just made sense...

WGN aired "Hold-Up" and "Bailey's Show." "Les on a Ledge" was not rerun again tonight.

Maybe Bailey's standing behind the wall that Les is in front of when he's on the ledge, and she's got a great big hammer, and she's whacking the wall where she thinks he is in the hope that it'll knock him off?:bash:

I really don't she'd go that far. Maybe if it was Herb on the ledge, she would.

Hmm. Perhaps you're right. Les on a Ledge was early in the series, and at that point Bailey hadn't been doing the news. Maybe if Les went out on the ledge after Andy & the Big Guy told Les to give Bailey a chance, and Les then started messing Bailey about, then Bailey would have gone looking for a hammer.

Or perhaps what we didn't see when Herb fell off the ledge at the end of the episode was Bailey at another window with some very large bellows!

I just saw this ep again tonight - hilarious! Loved the "Jennifer used to be a man" subplot. Andy and Mr. Carlson's expressions were priceless. "WHAT!??"

Jennifer : " Oh Les, show me what a man you are."

Herb hears this, gets distracted, and falls off the ledge himself.

Me too - or at least release Seasons 2-4 on DVD. I don't care if they have to use generic music!

I agree! The music is definitely secondary to the brilliant comedy in this series so I would definitely take DVD's with generic music.

Plus, they only played snippets of the songs anyway in each episode. I really want to watch the character-driven comedy!!

Me too! It's the hilarious interaction between the characters that I've always enjoyed about this series. And like you said they only play snippets of the songs anyway.

I wouldn't even notice if they would to replace the music, lol, im only 16 I didn't see the original run.

Do they use the orginal music in the reruns on tv? Or is it replaced on both the dvds and tv now?

The last time I remember WKRP in syndication in Cleveland was in the early/mid 90s. I think they used replacement music. Since I was born in 1979, I didn't watch the show until reruns/DVDs myself.

I vaugly remember seeing WKRP during its run. I caught it a couple of times when it was on Mondays at 8, but CBS moved it so much who could keep up with it. I didnt really get to see it all until the reruns, and they always used the original music whenever I saw them on whatever station that was.
