Was the music intact on these episodes? I haven't seen the show since it first aired and my memory isn't that good, but it does seem that during it's original run I remember hearing music throughout each episode.

Tonight's 7:30 episode ("Bailey's Show") featured Boogie Oogie Oogie and Jailhouse Rock, so I don't think after tonight that music should be a problem with the WGN reruns. And most of the episodes seem to run 23-24 mins. :cheer:

Turkey's Away played the Pink Floyd song "Dogs" and the episode following that played the Rolling Stones' "Beast of Burden." There are probably some music replacements still, but they seem to be getting better. I missed the episode last week before Bailey's Show, because my DVR read it as a Les On a Ledge, when it wasn't.

I really think it's rotten that you can hear a lot of the original music on TV reruns, but not the DVDs. Same goes for Happy Days.

Well, I notice that "Hot Blooded" was replaced on Sunday night's episode. I was very disappointed.

I've read that some of the original elements of the show have been lost because it was hacked to pieces for syndication. Even some of the lines have been replaced and overdubbed by "voice impersonators." It's pretty sad that a fine show like this has been desecrated because of the music industry greed.
