Another friend of mine and mriggles (Mike) is moving up to the big leagues. Starting July 7th, our friend Kevin Conners will be joing ESPNEWS as a host!!!

He is an all around great guy and is truly deserving of this oppurtunity!

So tune in and enjoy! :D

I'll tell my husband to be on the lookout, Brian. It's like the time two years ago when you told us about your friend, Tina Cervasio, the new Red Sox reporter. Lou liked her in more ways than one, lol. She left for bigger and better things, although her replacement is a blonde fox, lol.

I wonder if ESPNEWS is where ESPN execs want new achors to start so they can see if you have what it takes or was it his decision to go to ESPNEWS? Either way still a great opportunity

He was a weekend sports anchor at CBS 2 tv here in NYC. He sent them a demo and bang he was hired. I think what you are asking is if ESPN first puts on its anchors on ESPNEWS before, say Sports Center. That in itself is a very good possibility, not sure though. Tune in July 7th and let's see what he's got. He is extremely talented.

Don't forget our buddy Kevin Burkhardt, who moved onto be the NY Mets beat reporter on the Mets channel SNY. ;) Tina is doing great, she is now the hostess on the MSG channel here in NYC.

Well that's defintely a move that makes sense, unlike some guy here who works for WPVI as a sports anchor after working for ESPN-lol He was on a NATIONAL Network and then went Local.

July 7th I just happen to be off so I will be able to check him out

Solomon, everybody who is hired by ESPN must be trained. ESPN has a certain way of doing things.

Learn something new everyday-lol I know when I read in philly gossip pages that a certain person is joining WPVI as a reporter they are on the air that day. So maybe it's different with ESPN
