No, I'm not talking about his guest appearance in season 8. I'm talking about when Randy would have returned home after his year in Costa Rica. Since, in the final episode, Tim and the family moved to Indiana, Randy would have to move there. However, when Randy left, he wanted to be with Lauren (his girlfriend). They both went to Costa Rica. So after spending a year in Costa Rica, the two would have to have a long distance relationship, due to the family living in Indiana.

I wonder how Randy would have adjusted to that.

Even though I'd assume the family told him they moved, it would be funny if Randy returned home and found the house gone. He'd turn to Wilson, "So Dad finally blew up the house?" lol

That would have been hilarious if Randy showed up in Michigan after a year in Costa Rica, and no one was there-LOL. Yeah, that storyline was always inaccurate to me. But, that's what we get when an actor wants to leave a show.

I know it was a cliffhanger, but personally, I don't believe
they moved. Jill comes right out and says that she doesn't
want to. And of course, they had changed things for Tim
on Tool Time, to entice him back. You can't tell me he'd
turn that down!

I know at the end they show the house on a truck then a
tugboat, but that was strictly Tim's imagination.
