MySpace is so annoying. :lol: i like the surveys...and i like going to the music pages...but thats about it. Facebook isnt much better. i think im the only person my age who hates both MySpace and Facebook.

I gotta admit, MySpace was fun at first, but I rarely go there now. If it wasn't for the fact that it is the only way I can e-mail some people, I wouldn't bother with it.

myspace IS the devil. i don't hide the fact that i'm a Christian on there. i have a Christian rock band (Fireflight) as my background, i have Christian rock songs on my player. yet, i still get porno wannnabes that want to be my friends. the pic that goes under your username is just nasty, the way they pose, is just.... nasty!!! lol.

Is your myspace private? I use to get a ton of perverted guys (and some of those porn chicks) wanting to be "my friend" and then I went private and have barely had any at all.

they might be using one of those programs that automatically sends unsolicited friend requests. in your account settings, you can set it so that they have to solve a 'capcha' to send you friend requests.

Yep...I left MySpace. I was getting too many creepy friend requests, and my account got "phished." Facebook is 10000% better than MySpace, and in my opinion a lot safer!!!

You have a myspace, Cathy? I never really saw the appeal to it. All a lot of people do is post a hundred different pictures of themselves. And who wants to see a hundred pictures of me. :lol:

I still fail the see the excitement of myspace and facebook. I much rather just e-mail the person.

I have a myspace and I don't get any solicited ads. I made my profile private so only my friends can see my page.

That's nice that you have myspace to keep in touch with old high school friends. I'm taking a guess that is because most of them don't live near you anymore? That's the same with my high school friends. They all live in different states. Infact one is living in Washington DC and works at the White House.

No, I don't believe it does.

I prefer Facebook over Myspace as, in my opinon, Facebook is tidier, less cluttered, and looks nicer, to me. Facebook has problems of its own, of course, but I really enjoy it and try to log on every day.

It also keeps me connected to my friends, which I like.
