Out of all the different men Carrie dated, who was the best & who was the worst in your opinion?

I'd pick Aidan as best.
Worst would be the Russian.

I'll second that. Aidan was a sweetie pie, although Big was kind of cool. The Russian was def. a drip so last place for him.

I like Big too, but it took him years & years to get serious about Carrie, that's why I picked Aidan over him.

And when the Russian slapped Carrie, well that was the end of him in my book.

Petrovsky wasn't even that good looking, never mind that he was such a jerk.
Big did have a magnetism abt him, but Aidan was a sweetie pie and ULTRA-RELIABLE, and that IMHO trumps magnetism. So we're def on the same pg!!

I believe the Russian's appeal was that he was European and seemed very sophisticated. A combination that caught Carrie's eye. But like you said he wasn't really that handsome and his personality wasn't the greatest either. Remember how rude he was to everyone at his dinner party? I never understood why she wanted to go off to Paris with him. Aidan on the other hand was a doll and was always so sweet to her. Why she couldn't stick with him is beyond me.
What about Burger and that jazz guy (can't remember his name), what did you think of them as dates for Carrie?

Good for quick flings but not relationship material like Aidan - what a dope Carrie was not to see what a good guy he was. I don't care if she was a writer, in many ways she was the dim bulb of the foursome.
