I found out today that they're closing the Goody's clothing store at our local Mall within the next couple of months. I was told that many of their stores would be closed due to finacial problems. I'm wondering if this has to do with our slowing economy? This is one of my favorite stores, where I buy all our Levi's, as well as other clothing. Has anyone heard anything about this?

I would say it is definitely a sign of our faltering economy, and there will be many more closings in the months and years to come, unfortunately...

I know what you mean, our Goody's store always had plenty of customers too, so it makes you wonder why they decided to close that particular one.
