Two hours for me and that was last night, and even though we did stuff to pass the time it was still...UGH, and besides that I was tired and hadnt taken a nap ALL DAY aside from plane ones.

It almost did seem like a permanent Monday that would never end :cuss: !!! AND no explanation for the 3 hour delay

Around an hour... I was flying to New York City with a layover in Minneapolis. The conditions weren't the best while I was in Minneapolis.

Last month, I went to Lakeland, FL, and on the way back home, our plane was delayed two hours. Because of that, we missed our connecting flight in Denver, which meant we were stuck in Denver for the night. Fortunately, they booked us on another flight the next morning and put us up in a very nice Raddison Hotel.

I've been lucky and have never been been rerouted or delayed.

8 hours....St. Louis to boston...8 hour delay....then on to Paris. And since I was with a school group, we weren't allowed to leave the airport, so we just kinda sat there. It was a really long day :)

In 1999, my mom and I were heading back home to Cleveland after a weekend in Toronto. A thunderstorm delayed our flight for over 3 hours. Thankfully, it's only about an hour flight with no time difference, so it could have been worse.

OH Nuts!

Thank God I haven't had one. But I RARELY travel on plane and only when I have to. I hate flying. I don't trust our system - even though statistically its the safest form of travel - I hate traveling on plane so much I even called up Greyhound to find out how long it would take to go from NYC to Miami - think the fastest bus was 24 hrs. Well, that was too much like the covered wagon for me. So I bit the bullet, took a very EARLY flight (from what I understand those are the least likely to be delayed) and figured I could get thru the 3 hrs. (And unf. AMTrak is no better - horrible delays there too -one good thing I'll say abt Greyhound they're very punctual -even arrive a few min ahead of time often - for under 500 miles the doggie's the way for me)

Last plane trip was in Nov '04 to go to my fav Aunt's 70th b'day in Miami. She's one of the few people I'd get on a plane for.

a couple of hours in london a few years back. i've only been on a plane a couple of times. it wasn't really long or bad, it's just that i was flying back by myself so i was pretty bored. i was exhausted too & wanted to just nap for a bit, but i was afraid someone would steal my purse or something.
