How much did Mr. Drummond pay Arnold and Willis' mother that they were all still living in Harlem?

In a never-before scene footage between Mr. Drumond and The Jackson's mother..

Mr. Drummond: I'll give you 50 cents and that's my final offer.

Mrs. Jackson: What the hell kind of business is that?

Mr. Drummond: I love when you are modest, Mrs. Jackson. 25 cents an hour and that's my final offer.

Mrs. Jackson: Old, creepy, cheepy son of a...(exits left stage)

Mr. Drummond: I sure love it when I'm cheap and a slum lord. Next, please.

**Mrs. Garrett comes, professionally dressed**

Mr. Drummond(thininking): Look at that rack! Maybe I should hire white maids only.

Where does that little hallway between the kitchen door and the stairs lead to?

Didn't those kitchen stairs disappear in later seasons?

Also, when Arnold hid under the sink, where was all the drain apparatus which is normally under sinks?

The kitchen was also missing in the cousin Myrtle episode from the 1st season.

They did visit. They paid a visit to their home almost seven years later on the episode when they decide to change their last name to Drummond. They also went to visit during season two when they went to a party at a friends' house.

In the TV world, not seeing Kim's room will always be a mystery. Speaking from a political production standpoint, it would have been a waste of money since most of the action focused on Arnold and Willis.
