[SIZE="5"][/SIZEI've often read that Lucy battled her weight especially in her later years and it's even said she had gained a lot in "The Comedy Hours". I never really noticed. Desi was bloated because he drank, I think. And he always seemed to be kind of barrel shaped anyway. But Lucy always looked good to me.

After ILL and before The Lucy Show, Lucy did gain weight, but after doing the Broadway show, "Wildcat" and getting ill, she did lose. By the time The Lucy Show premiered, Lucy was back to looking fit and trim!

I always thought Desi looked even better in the later years of I love lucy when he put a little more meat on his bones and I don't think either one of them gained a real significant amount of weight. It sure didn't alter their popularity. JMO of course.

I can't help but always check out Desi's bod in the episode BONUS BUCKS when he goes to the bathroom and removes his pajama top. It is the only time we see Ricky like that...topless. :cool: He wasn't flabby or even muscular, but he was lookin' good. ;)

Oh for shame. :eek: That's right. I forgot abt that. I guess because I see more of his top in the Bonus Bucks episode than I do in the bathtub. ;)

Don't we see a bit of his naked chest in "Little Ricky Wants To Play The Drums" too? When he get out of the shower to flip the swish to get the water back on? And we see more of his upper physique in "Mertz and Kurtz" They go wild simply wild over me THUMP THUMP. :lol:

I guess the Bonus Buck scene sticks out to me simply because he is totally TOPLESS. :kiss:

:lol: that scene is hilarious! though the mertz and kurtz episode isn't one of my favorites in general, the show they did in the end was funny. but ricky was definitely memorable. lol.

I didn't forget exactly but I try to focus on "I Love Lucy" in this forum. So yeah we see his chest in TLLT. ;)

LOL! I never forget that! I also recall when I first saw that movie, I automatically kept trying to look down further as if the camera was going to fall and expose his package! Gee, how silly is that? LOL! A girl can dream can't she?:D
