I emailed them a couple times to keep Mama's Family on. I also thought that I read somewhere that Mama's Family was coming back in August m-th. Maybe it was old news.

I wouldn't bother. I emailed them abt ALICE, a show they only ran ONCE. They don't care. Besides, Mama had more than one run on that channel and I guess they figure the time has run out for her and it is better to put on some crap.

Bummer. I just got ION Tv and was so happy to see Mama's Family was on this channel, now they go and take it off.

Sorry to hear that. A lot of people were furious when ALICE was being removed after only one run. It didn't help matters either when ION would chop and edit that show to shreds.

It seemed to work for Dog the Bounty Hunter. A&E got millions of emails for the show. Nows he back on.

ION is not like A&E. They don't care abt their fans obviously like A&E does. If ION cared, they wouldn't butcher their shows the way they did. Besides, Mama had its run, unlike other shows like ALICE which was treated very shabby and only had ONE RUN with some episodes which never aired.

what the freak difference does it make what people say? i thought amounts of viewers meant everything to these money hungry, tight wads that work at networks. obviously, there mama had never told them "never listen to what other people say." either that or the netheads are stupider than we think they are, (which is a lot!)

I tryed again at 12:23 am and this is what it say's name: only alphabetic characters allowered (error charaters position 6) that what it say's when i send the e-mail.

Irene; I too was disappointed when they took Alice off. That is a series that we don't get to see very often. I also was mad when they canceled The Wonder Years. As for Mama's Family. Well after TBS ran it for years I really didn't watch it on ION that often even though it is still one of my favorite sitcoms. Another show that I wish some station would pick up is Newhart.

Some on here say they have tapes of the show so it really doesn't matter that they took it off. I have tapes of the show also but It's always a joy to watch it as it airs. I really hope ION brings it back.
