That sucks. I love GFL! Pavan, it'll only be on fridays?

Wow, ABC Family is really trying to play up That 70's Show. I really cannot stand that show at all - it almost seems out of place on the network. The marathon, all the daily airings, and why'd they have to replace GFL? They should have done 8 Simple Rules at 6:00, then Grounded for Life at 6:30.

Grounded will be Fridays 10-11pm and weekends 10-11am. Damn blog is having server problems. 8 Simple Rules does well 6-7pm, no point in replacing one of the half-hours.

I think it's rediculous that they cant remove one airing of Full House (either the 12pm-1pm or 3-4pm) and put That's 70's show there. I love GFL. 8SR and GFL are great together. It was my 6-8pm lineup.

Pav, now that I'm wondering, how is What I Like about you doing for the network? Hopefully well cause it's already leaving the CW in the fall. i'd hate to loose it from both networks.

Not sure, it must be doing well since it is still on 4-5pm.

It's too bad they're shafting Grounded for Life. If I was them, I would make the schedule be:
3-4: WILAY
4-5: Grounded for Life
5-6: still Gilmore Girls
6-7: 8 Simple Rules
7-8: 70s show

that way they can get rid of the full house repeats and air more of a variety.

this summer is going to be dominated by that 70s show

4-5 on FX (i think)
4-5 on my local fox
5-6 on wsbk (im pretty sure thats when its on lol)
7-8 on abcfamily
+ coming to the N

So happy 8 Simple Rules is staying where it is. Still watch it every day. :)

If they wanted more variety in the schedule, they'd cut repeat airings and bring back everwood. Why not move Gilmore Girls to 3 and get rid of Full House. Then they can bring GFL into the 5pm hour. They'd then have 4 hours of comedy that suits everyone and GG would still be on for the people who watch it.

I don't think they'd get rid of Full House, because if they're airing it 4 times a day, it must be getting pretty good ratings.

What happened to Boy Meets World again? They should get that back, as well as Wonder Years and more airings of Step by Step.

I know, plus as someone else already mentioned, the show is airing on the-N in a few weeks, plus the series is still gonna be aired on FX and in syndication. Now if that ain't overkill, then i don't know what is.

What happened to Boy Meets World again?

Buena Vista lost their distribution rights on August 31st, 2007. Until Boy Meets World finds a new distributor, the show will not continue on dvd or television. There is no way at this point that any network could air it:(

DSfan

that's too bad. don't these compagnies realize that they could money off that show in syndication, there would be many cable channels that would want to air it.

I hope to see it added to the N in the future, if possible.

ryan423

the N is horrible with handling shows though (aka summerland). Nick at Nite or back on ABC Family would be the best fit. It's not like ABC Family had an option. Neither did disney. They had to remove the show from their network.

Maybe N@N would be good, but I hate how they make you all excited (like getting Growing Pains), they air one night-long marathon and then air it once a week at like 430 in the morning and we never see of it again...

Yeah, ABC Family was mainly for the classic TGIF family sitcoms from the 90's, and eventually other family shows that aired mainly on Friday nights. Now they're bringing in all different kinds of shows, like That 70's Show, which is far, far away from being a family-type show.

If I were them, here's a schedule I'd do:
3:00 WILAY
4:00 8 Simple Rules
5:00 Gilmore Girls
6:00 Grounded for Life
7:00 That 70's Show

I know 8SR does well at 6pm, but it seems like it would go more with WILAY that That 70's Show, whereas GFL would go better with That 70's Show.

I love having WILAY and then 8SR back-to-back. That was the daytime WB lineup before Reba came into the 4pm slot in September 2006.

Imiss having BMW on the lineup as well. The show always seemed to fit really well with the other shows. Too bad BV can't find a distributor for the show :(

Do you know what the status of Whose Line will be after this July change? Is their contract expiring or will it be one of those shows (like Smallville) that leaves for a little while then comes back in a different slot? Strange since Drew Carey‘s fame is on the rise with success of his first year on Price is Right.

Step By Step and Whose line have been the only fixtures on the schedule since 2002 Whose Line has only been airing a few times a week during the midnight ET timeslot. Is this the end of whose line on ABC Fam? Is Step By Step’s early morning timeslot the next show we need to worry about losing.

Yeah, Whose Line has really been trimmed down on the network. It used to be airing all the time at 10pm, with a Friday night marathon, but that was already a few years ago. I still watch it at midnight during the week - let's hope it stays for awhile.

I'm also glad their keeping 8 Simple Rules as is, i like that show alot

Have yall seen the promos for the Secret Life Of The American Teenager? I think its a welcome addition to their schedule, it looks good, kinda similar to 7th heaven...I also like that its on Tuesday nights cause i don't have a Tuesday night show at the moment..
