The Program Exchange- the background music was creepy.
Guntzalman- when the guy falls off the roof and says: "ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!" this was usually at the end of Growing Pains.
DiC- the kid in the bed sleeping.
Starry Night- at the end of Night Court, when you would hear that clap noise and harry laughing.
Viacom- v of doom and v of steal.
stephen j. cannell- he would type on his type-writer and then throw the sheet over his shoulder.
Harpo- at the end of Oprah.

Oh, how could I forget Mimsie? I love that logo too - especially the little variations (Mimsie wearing scrubs at the end of St. Elsewhere, a cop's hat at the end of Hill Street Blues, etc.).

The Three Stooges "The End" with that lanky theater character.

I'm just as fascinated with a show's opening titles and theme music (and have a Yahoo! group since '99 for that purpose).

John Charles Walters was creative. I liked Ubu as well; but my all time favorite has to be the MTM cat. And I'm with you Jude86, I love theme music and credits! It really serves as a window into the world you are about to enter (ie: After watching the theme song to NEWHART, you know it's going to be about a peaceful inn in a secluded part of the country!).

The blue mountain logo and music was the creepiest to me, but the other one was pretty scary, too. :lol: The V of Doom was so scary to me as a child - I thought it would come right out of the TV and get me!!! :eek: :lol:

And, speaking of that; here's a some trivia about that "GOODNIGHT MR. WALTERS!" that I read in a book about the show: that harried producer who mumbles "goodnight!" was played by Ed Weinberger, one of the producers. He also appeared on the show once- in the episode "MEMORIES OF CAB 804" when Tony's telling how he talked a guy out of jumping, he played the guy.

And, there was a whole scenario written for that "GOODNIGHT MR. WALTERS!" & the mumbled "goodnight" for the final episode, but it was never filmed. After the secretary shouts that and he mumbles his response, she would say "MR. WALTERS, WAIT! YOU FORGOT TO DO...(something)". He pauses and says "Can't you do it"? She comes out and says "Oh c'mon. It'll just take a minute". They go into a control room, do it (now, get all those thoughts out of your mind!:lol: :lol: ) then walk out, she says again, "GOODNIGHT MR. WALTERS"!, he mumbles "Goodnight" but then he stops, turns around, and you see his face for the first time as he says "Want to have a drink"? And she says "Oh, Mr. Walters"! and they walk out together.

Another good logo is the one we see for 20 years now and that is...

The Gracie Films logo, seen at the end of "The Simpsons," "The Tracey Ullman Show," and "The Critic."

The dark b/g and those weird-looking people and the "Shhhhh!" and jingle might get some at first glance.

But after awhile, you'll be used to this logo.

I loved this logo on the Halloween episodes of "The Simpsons" where the "Shhhh!" is replaced w/ a screaming sound at the end.

And this was funny on one episode where Homer Simpson said "Shhhhhhh-ie, you're cut, too!" :lol:

and don't forget the one at the end of "LOST" fo "BAD ROBOT PRODUCTIONS" where they show a, I think it's a robot with a TV for a head; and a kids voice says "BAD ROBOT".

Dan Schneider has a cool logo. his production name is Dan Schneider Bakery. he created shows for Nick (The Amanda Show, Kenan & Kel, ect.) i believe he also created All That, Drake & Josh, iCarly, and What I like about you. it's a pic of an oven and a film strip rolls out and it has his name on it.

Definitely the "Spelling Entertainment" logo... the newer one that was blue and had the sparkles. It probably only stuck in my head because I always watch his shows.
