They got the nerve to give Til death, a third shot but not BTY, which in my opioin is a way better show! I'm thru with fox! TVLand is crap, as well as Fox now is! All these networks care about now is reality! That's why now I just by all the box sets of all my favirote sitcoms and say forget about crappy networks like fox! Good by Fox!!:mad:

Frankly, I'm beginning to enjoy Til Death however I still believe that BTY was the show that deserved another chance! I won't give up on the campaign!

I cannot stand Til Death myself. I always thought Brad Garret was such a talented actor, but from watching TD, you'd never know it. The show was getting lower ratings in it's first season than it did this season, and yet for some reason, FOX is still lugging this show around. I don't understand why they'd cancel BTY but not TD. The least they could have done was cancel TD AND BTY, but I guess they went another direction . . .

I sampled Til Death when it first premiered just to check Brad who I think is a great comedic actor. I hated it, it was painful and made Brad even look unfunny and unwatchable! When Fox picked up Back to You last year and announced it would pair it with Til' Death I decided to give it a second try. Saw the repeat of the episode when the daughter was visiting and they had some kind of picnic outdoors. Couldn't believe how Fox had renewed it. It was awful, just like I had remembered it!

I haven't watched the second season regularly but just the fact that they have brought in this new guy and are moving away completely from the first premise of the show is a sign that they have no idea what they're doing creatively and that they're going for the cheap laughs instead of character development!

Back to You... there's no comparison....in every direction. BTY had already improved in character development and story lines. It was smart, sweet and funny. Just imagine how smarter and funnier the second season would have been if they were given a chance. Chuck and Kelly doing that crappy morning show at 5 o'clock in the morning - can you imagine the neurosis - histerical!!!! Or dealing with the gossip surrounding their relationship;finally raising their daughter together and competing in the professional arena etc..etc..etc..

Man, now I'm mad .... this show deserves to be back!!!!

As someone who has seen both shows, I really do think that "Back to You" was a lot funnier and more entertaining. I was surprised when it wasn't renewed with such great stars as the main characters!! I started watching at the end of the season, because it ran before the American Idol results...lol, and I'm curious to know how things will go with Gracie...I guess we'll never know?

Don't think that way Pink, we will find out. Season 2 is on the way, we just need to step up our efforts. This campaign is far from over. Keep the faith! :)

I do agree that they should have NEVER canceled "Back to You", because it had the potential to last many years, and is one of the only few sitcom comedies we have left on TV these days. Besides, who can not like a show with Kelsey Grammer in it? The guy is talented all around.

"Til Death" is also funny.. it's just random situations that make you laugh. The new guy, Kenny, makes the show even that more funnier.

It's like ABC canceling George Lopez, and putting According to Jim on hiatus, because they had two new shows called "Cavemen" and "Carpoolers" they thought were going to boost the ratings.

I'm glad you enjoy Til' Death Richee! I just don't! I have nothing against the cast and the crew. I love Joly Fisher and loved Brad on Raymond. I think they have great chemistry together but the show just doesn't do it for me. Perhaps Raymond dealt with the dynamics and neurosis of a married couple to such excellence that everything else just pales to comparison.

FOX was the problem! The just didn't want the show period and they did what they could to destroy it with cast changes and schedule changes. They were the ones that pushed for the cast changes. And the money... that's just BS because FOX never asked them to reduce costs. Per Grammer and Levitan the money issues would have been resolved if FOX had asked them. Even Kevin Raily didn't know what to say when he addressed the cancelation. First he said it was expensive to produce and then he said that creatively the show was a mixed bag :crazy:!

I was gonna say the same thing. THe huge problem was that the show ended up on FOX. It was just not a good network for a show like BTY to be on. Plus, the network tried to get involve with the show after the strike, which only hurt things worse.
