Yes. And her father was never mentioned on the show either. Only her mother.

I like how in The Lucy Show, Lucy is given a sister, played by Janet Waldo (and seen for only one episode). Her mother is mentioned also in the series, but once again, I don't think Lucy mentioned her father in that show either.

It has been YEARS since I have seen the Lucy Show. I can't recall so many things abt it.

Also I take it that Ethel parents were divorced because in one episode she went to go stay with her mother, and then in the Hollywood episodes they stopped by her dads house and her mother wasn't around. Odd?????

He was mentioned in a lie-- when Ricky had some Spanish-speaking friends in the apartment, he translated one of their questions, "They want to know if the color of your hair is natural." Lucy said, "Yes, tell them certainly it's natural-- my mother and my father both had red hair." [Ricky tells them the truth instead.]

Janet Waldo played her sister! Wow I only picture her playing PEGGY in the Crush on ricky episode. Also she is/was the voice of Judy Jetson in the Jetson cartoon. Maybe she still does the voice in the electrosol commerical of the Jetsons. Keep shaking the legs Peggy
